A well-established and growing transportation and supply chain organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Generalist to join its Accounting & Finance team. This position offers a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their skills in accounts payable, billing support, financial record management, and general accounting operations within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Manage accounts payable communications and invoice processing
- Review and process vendor and carrier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries
- Maintain timely and accurate payment records
Billing Support
- Assist with customer invoicing and billing processes
- Review supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing issues
- Support month-end accounting activities
Document Management
- Maintain organized electronic financial records
- Index and archive invoices and supporting documentation
- Verify completeness and accuracy of documents before processing
General Accounting Support
- Perform data entry and maintain financial records
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Support the Accounting & Finance team as needed
Qualifications
Required
- 1-3 years of accounting, accounts payable, billing, bookkeeping, or related financial experience
OR
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Desired Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Compensation & Benefits
Starting Salary: $45,000 annually
