Job Title: Deburring Technician 
Job Summary
The Entry-Level Deburring Technician is responsible for assisting with the removal of burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from fabricated metal parts. This position is ideal for individuals new to manufacturing who are willing to learn metal finishing processes and follow quality and safety standards. Training will be provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Remove burrs and sharp edges from metal parts using hand tools and basic power tools under supervision.
  • Perform edge breaking and light surface finishing according to work instructions and training.
  • Visually inspect parts to ensure they are safe to handle and meet basic quality requirements.
  • Follow job travelers, work orders, and supervisor instructions.
  • Properly identify, handle, and move parts to the next operation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times as required.
  • Notify the supervisor of damaged parts, quality concerns, or equipment issues.
  • Assist other production departments as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • No prior metal fabrication experience required; on-the-job training provided.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Basic hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work safely in a production environment.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use hand tools and light power tools repetitively.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with noise, dust, and metal debris.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing and metal fabrication shop.
  • Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • Pay:  $16-$18 per hour based on experience
  • In-person interview required prior to employment
  • 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shift, overtime as needed

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Prior manufacturing or shop experience.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools.
