2nd shift Molding Operator - $17.25 - 2:50 pm to 11:00 pm.
3rd shift Molding Operator – $17.00 Sun-Th 10:50 pm to 7 am. Plus, OT possibly on Fridays.
Job Title: Molding Machine Operator
SUMMARY:
The Molding Machine Operator is responsible for the visual inspection of molded parts and sonic cutting, as well as operating the plastic injection molding machine as directed by the lead operator and/or supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are included, but not limited to:
- Operate the molding machine according to Work Instructions and as directed by the Lead Operator, Technician, and/or Supervisor.
- Inspect molded parts for cosmetic defects in accordance with the Inspection Instruction Sheet.
- Communicate any molding problems or issues to the Technician, Supervisor, or Lead Operator.
- Relay any special instructions or quality issues to other shifts.
- Maintain a clean work area and assist in keeping the Molding Department organized and orderly.
- Assist the Lead Operator by relieving other operators during break times.
- Perform other related duties as needed, including annealing of parts and organizing boxed and bagged parts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within a team.
- Strong attention to detail for quality inspection.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
- Basic understanding of plastic injection molding processes is preferred but not required.
